 Squirrel 9100 - Alternating Air Mattress

The Squirrel 9100 is one of our most popular overlays, and due to an array of special features offers
the highest levels of comfort and therapeutic pressure care. It is primarily designed for people at
high risk of pressure sores and includes an ingenious 24 cell (multi therapy) system – that can assist
in the effective prevention of pressure ulcers.

• True A/B Alternation – 24 air cells within the mattress alternate inflation over a 10 minute period.
This can stimulate blood flow and relieve surface interface pressure.

• Infection Control – Both the mattress and pump have been designed to be quick and easy to clean.
The top cover can be removed via a zip and all 24 dynamic cells can be accessed for cleaning.
Replacement covers and cells are available at nominal cost.

• CPR Facility – Traditional CPR deflation is obtained via an easy to locate CPR switch. This is situated
on the air tube at the foot of the mattress.

• Easily Profiled - The Squirrel 9100 will profile to suit most adjustable bed frame designs from
standard kings fund through to more complex electronic designs.

• Soft Stretch Cover – Fully zipped, 2 way stretch PU cover. This is both waterproof and vapor
permeable and can be removed to be laundered. The soft stretch fabric in combination with the
air cells allows the partial immersion of patient thus ensuring maximum comfort and therapy.

 Squirrel 9200

The Squirrel 9200 is designed so that the client is literally sleeping on a soft series of temperate air
(cells) some of which permeates through special laser cut holes. Whilst the 24 torso cells gently
alternate, causing a pleasant therapeutic sensation that stimulates the capillaries. Capillary stimulation
can help to ensure that tissue oxygenation and nutrition occurs, alongside the removal of waste toxins.
Easy to use. This is a true multi user mattress that has been built to withstand the vigorous daily use
of the modern care establishment and due to its array of features can prove quite suitable for the
lighter patients that form the majority of users.

diminish pain.

• 24 Top Cell (Multi Therapy) System - some users tend to find that a higher proportion of smaller
cells are more comfortable and less noticeable than traditional deep cell systems. These cells
alternate in terms of deflation/ inflation over a 10 minute cycle. This can stimulate blood flow and
relieve surface interface pressure.

 Squirrel 9250

The 9250 is a true multi user mattress that has been built to withstand the demands of the modern
care environment. It is designed so that the client is literally sleeping on a soft series of temperate
(air) cells some of which permeates through eighteen laser cut holes. The torso cells gently alternate
causing a pleasant therapeutic sensation that stimulates the capillaries, to help ensure that tissue
oxygenation and nutrition occur alongside the removal of waste toxins.

The laser punch holes gently allow the cell to collapse and deform to the unique patient shape when
under load. This deformation allows a greater surface area to be supported, thus making the
mattress far more comfortable for the patient while delivering optimum pressure care.
